ANDRZEJ WOJTCZAK
Andrzej Wojtczak is one of the most acclaimed folklore wood carvers in Poland.
His sculptures are predominantly made out of lime tree wood and generally showcase sacred themes. Besides three dimensional figures, he creates flat reliefs in the Triptychon form with figures. Evidence of his rich imagination can by found in his religious creations of cribs, biblical motives, figures, saints and angels, whilst still retaining polish tradition.
